This is the first time ever na I cried because of a manga. Yup! I actually cried. My roommates, (Msk, Pate and... Plata :D), were sleeping na coz it's already around 1 am pero nagbabasa pa rin ako. Actually, I planned na wag na munang tapusin but nung nakaabot ako sa Chapter 22 of Moe Kare, I cried. As in cried. And it seems that I can't stop reading na because it has a nice storyline talaga. (So, if you want to read Moe Kare, and you don't want to cry, (I'm telling you!!) skip Chapter 22.)
Anyway, Moe Kare is a story about a 15-year-old girl named Hikaru. She's so hooked on mangas and animes so her head is full of romantic or cheesy moments. One day, on a train station, napasali siya sa gulo because may sinave siyang batang lalaki. Dapat sasaktan siya nung nakaaway niya but fortunately, she was saved by a mysterious blue-eyed boy. After saving her, he kissed her and left her there.
A few days later, nakita niya iyong guy ulit dahil sa isang group date. She accused him of perverted things only to know na hindi siya iyong guy coz this new guy has black eyes and is a gentleman, named Takara. She was confused kung bakit and paanong magiging magkamukha ang 2 totally different persons. And later on, malalaman niya na anak pala sa labas ung blue-eyed boy, named Arata, nung dad ni Takara and walang kaalam-alam si Takara about his stepbrother. (By the way, Hikaru calls Arata, "Perverted Prince").
Basta, gusto ni Hikaru si Takara and gusto naman siya nung magkapatid. Who will she choose? Takara, who's so gentle, kind and everyone's favorite but has a selfish side too, or Arata, the Perverted Prince but has a gentle and matured side that he keeps on hiding? Just read it. I can assure you that it's worth your time.. :D
Actually, at first, kaya ko lang siya binabasa is because of the funny scenes but at time passes, I actually liked it because I (almost??) had the same experience that Hikaru faced in the last chapter. But there's one major difference.. Hahaha.. I don't want to spill kung ano iyon.. :P And also, nakaisip na ako ng theme song ng mangang ito.. "Fixing a Broken Heart" :D Wala lang.. I think the lyrics of the song suits the storyline. :D
Uhm..er..Makikita niyo pala iyong Moe Kare sa OneManga. :D
